Jewish Family Service of Metropolitan Detroit

JFS of Metropolitan Detroit needed to build a solid social media presence and increase audience engagement to win the Toyota 100 Cars for Good Campaign, a national Facebook contest. The prize of a new Toyota would allow JFS to give thousands of rides to older, homebound adults in the community.

But with one day of voting available only on Facebook, JFS needed to increase their outreach significantly considering they had a brand-new website and zero social media presence. Synectics Media jumped in to develop a comprehensive campaign of social media initiatives, while keeping the new website at the center of the efforts. Our approach was to conduct a pre-campaign across social media and text channels as well as day-of monitoring and outreach people who hadn’t voted yet.

Not only did JFS win a new Toyota Sienna to provide rides, but they saw an over 25% increase in their mailing list and 350% increase in their Facebook fan base.
